Common JavaScript Mishaps & Performance Tuning

I have been performing many code reviews and performance reviews for customers in the past year on client side customizations to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. I have observed that many of these customers were following the same bad patterns. In this session I will be covering the following patterns and areas of common shortcoming or pitfalls.

-Excessive DOM access
-Lack of caching in JavaScript
-Synchronous JavaScript communication
-Loose equality comparison
-Using browser specific APIs and agent logic
-Lack of file bundling and minification

I will also cover using the debugger tools to help identify areas in which can be tuned. Feel free to come ready to discuss some bad patterns that you see as well from other developers. After this session, hopefully you will be able to improve the quality of your scripts and understand how to tune for performance.
